Infrastructure Consultant – IDAM & Ping One (Plano, TX)

About the role

Infosys is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant to join its Financial Services unit. The role focuses on identity management solutions, particularly Ping One, and core Java development within client IT environments across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, prepare assessment reports and support due‑diligence activities.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions and develop technical documentation for deployed systems.
• Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, conduct post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Plan and execute maintenance windows, emergency fixes and technology upgrades while ensuring continuity.
• Analyze performance data, support capacity planning and optimize system behavior.
• Perform security checks, recovery drills and compliance audits, implementing necessary security measures.
• Identify automation opportunities based on feedback and operational insights.

Required profile

• Experience in infrastructure consulting or related IT services.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical findings.
• Strong analytical mindset for incident resolution and performance analysis.
