About the role

Infosys is seeking an Industry 4.0 Consultant to join its Engineering unit in Lafayette, Indiana. The role focuses on delivering data‑first engineering solutions for manufacturing and process industries, leveraging AI, ML and advanced analytics to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Run stakeholder workshops and interviews to capture system and technical specifications.
• Evaluate design alternatives using advanced engineering tools and develop detailed design concepts.
• Develop and assess prototypes, incorporating feedback from testing and users.
• Create specialized solution specifications and conduct advanced testing to meet performance requirements.
• Lead prototyping efforts, model design concepts, and synthesize testing feedback.
• Manage integration projects, solving complex technical challenges and enhancing system functionality.
• Optimize system performance through targeted tuning for efficiency and reliability.
• Facilitate training and knowledge‑transfer sessions across teams.
