Industrial Technician – Machine Guarding & Safety

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Technician to join our growing manufacturing team in New England. In this hands‑on position you will lead machine‑guarding projects from assessment through installation, ensuring safety and compliance across industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform onsite machine‑guarding assessments at manufacturing sites.
• Support design, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of guarding systems.
• Troubleshoot and modify guarding solutions in active production environments.
• Develop and maintain Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and related safety documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and operations teams to implement practical safety improvements.
• Coordinate equipment procurement and installation activities.
• Travel throughout New England and occasionally beyond to support client projects.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, production equipment, or a related technical field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel primarily within New England.
