Industrial Safety AI Trainer (Remote, $140–$160/hr)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced industrial safety professional to join our AI Labor Marketplace as an AI Trainer. In this remote, part‑time consulting role you will help shape the next generation of large language models by creating and evaluating safety‑focused content for manufacturing and process environments.

Key responsibilities

• Generate realistic, industry‑specific scenarios covering industrial hygiene, process safety, OSHA‑regulated operations and manufacturing safety programs.
• Evaluate AI‑generated outputs, identifying nuanced safety, risk and policy edge cases.
• Apply detailed annotation guidelines and attach structured metadata to each example.
• Document classification decisions with clear rationale and review work for consistency and realism.
• Contribute domain expertise to the development of safety classifiers and quality standards.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of experience in industrial safety, process safety, manufacturing operations, industrial hygiene or EHS leadership.
• Previous titles such as Plant Safety Director, Industrial Hygiene Lead, Process Safety Engineer or EHS Director.
• U.S.‑based professional with ability to work independently and manage own schedule.
