Inbound Customer Service Agent

About the role

We are looking for an Inbound Customer Service Agent who will be the voice of KONE, handling customer queries, complaints, and master‑data changes from receipt to resolution. The role is based out of our Operations Centre in Moline, IL, serving customers across the United States and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and monitor all incoming calls from customers and address non‑callout topics in a timely, professional manner.
• Escalate and assign cases to specialized lines when needed.
• Answer calls from technicians and branch personnel regarding customer issues or call‑out resolutions.
• Proactively update customer contact information and maintain equipment master data.
• Identify potential sales leads and forward them to the sales organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience or training in customer service (supervisory experience is a plus).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Clear, understandable telephone communication and ability to enter data while speaking.
• Strong spelling, written communication, and data‑entry skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
