In-Home Caregiver (CNA/PCA)

About the role

Commonwise is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers (CNA/PCA) to provide personalized support to clients in the Hampton Roads area. You will help clients maintain safety, autonomy, and quality of life in their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑lasting relationships with clients and their families.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, feeding).
• Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, driving, and engaging clients in hobbies.
• Serve as an advocate for clients in community settings.

Required profile

• Compassionate, dependable, and eager to support families during times of need.
• Physically able to lift/push/pull 20‑50 lbs and perform frequent bending.
• Proficient in communication, auditory and visual skills with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with personal care and home support tasks.
• Ability to drive safely when required.
