Implementation Systems Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an Implementation Systems Administrator to join our Projects team. You will lead large‑scale technical implementations from discovery through delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in project kick‑offs, define expectations, risks, and technical approach.
• Execute hands‑on implementations such as infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and system deployments.
• Provide post‑go‑live support to guarantee stability and a positive client experience.
• Track issues, contribute to post‑project debriefs, and suggest process improvements.
• Draft and send client‑facing status updates and communicate progress, changes, and outages.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors and co‑managed environments to complete tasks.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all project activities, tools, and client environments.
• Enter daily time tracking, documentation, and expenses in required systems (e.g., ConnectWise).

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a project‑focused or support‑focused IT role.
• Strong reactive IT support background.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, client‑oriented environment.
• Self‑motivated, highly organized, and detail‑oriented.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Any degree or equivalent experience.

• Email migrations to Microsoft 365.
• Server builds and migrations (file servers, domain controllers, application servers).
• Network upgrades and cross‑platform migrations.
• Hypervisor replacements and migrations (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Workstation lifecycle replacement initiatives.
• Office moves and new office build‑outs.
• Security stack deployments (MDR, SIEM).
• Application deployments (CRM, ERP).
