HVAC/R Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service commercial heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. The role requires strong technical knowledge, a customer‑focused attitude, and the ability to work in fast‑paced service environments.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
• Perform overhauls, start‑ups, commissioning, and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues using manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Prepare for service calls, gather materials, and coordinate work activities.
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely.

Required profile

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC/R service experience (preferred).
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lb and work in confined spaces, on rooftops, and on ladders.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations, overtime, and weekend work.

Required skills

• Commercial HVAC and refrigeration system service.
• Boiler and hydronic heating equipment maintenance.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Electrical, mechanical, and control system troubleshooting.
• EPA certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
