Human Trafficking Outreach Coordinator (Marketing Spec 3)

About the role

The Human Trafficking Outreach Coordinator is a grant‑funded position within the State of Georgia’s Department of Driver Services. Reporting to the Director, the coordinator leads education and outreach efforts aimed at commercial driver’s license (CDL) stakeholders to combat human trafficking in the transportation sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage a statewide outreach and public‑relations campaign targeting CDL holders, examiners, and fleet operators.
• Research, create, and distribute educational materials such as brochures, flyers, and posters.
• Engage with internal and external partners, including large CDL fleets, driver‑training schools, truck‑stop companies, and third‑party testers.
• Plan and attend conferences, seminars, and outreach events to promote human‑trafficking education.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies and industry stakeholders.
• Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in outreach, education, or public‑relations programs, preferably within the transportation or safety sector.
• Strong ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strategic partnerships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to organize events, manage projects, and evaluate program outcomes.
