About the role
Texas A&M University is seeking Human Resources Generalists at Levels II, III, and IV to support its people‑first, service‑oriented HR model. The role provides comprehensive HR and payroll support on the university’s main campus in College Station.
Key responsibilities
- Create, post, and process personnel actions in Workday and related systems.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and process payroll.
- Prepare HR documents for approval and daily operations.
- Support compliance with FMLA, FLSA, and ADA regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- HR Generalist experience: 1 year for Level II, 3 years for Level III, 5 years for Level IV.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and professional interaction with clients and staff.
Required skills
- Familiarity with Workday or a similar Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
