About the role

The HR Shared Services team at Toyota is seeking a motivated HR Generalist for a 12‑month contract in Plano, Texas. You will deliver consumer‑grade service to team members, answering a wide range of HR and employee experience inquiries quickly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to employee questions on benefits, compensation, policies, facilities, expense reporting, and development.
• Process and verify Form I‑9 documentation in compliance with federal eligibility requirements.
• Research topics using internal resources and maintain detailed records in Workday.
• Escalate complex issues to subject‑matter experts and ensure timely resolution.
• Track, manage, and close HR inquiries in Workday while preserving audit readiness.

Required profile

• Customer‑first mindset with prior customer service or HR experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to handle high‑volume tasks with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• High school diploma or higher.
