HR Business Partner / HR Director

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner / HR Director to lead the Core Business Unit’s people strategy. You will work with globally distributed, remote teams across Europe and beyond, ensuring the workforce drives the company’s strategic and financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure personnel effectiveness and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Manage staffing levels, onboarding, probation completion, and retention.
• Foster employee engagement and create a motivating work environment.
• Implement and enforce HR processes, maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.
• Monitor and measure manager and employee satisfaction with HR services.

Required profile

• 4+ years of HR Business Partner or HR Director experience in an international digital/IT/product company.
• Proven ability to execute the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, development, succession planning, performance evaluation, and termination.
• Experience managing payroll budgets, turnover, efficiency, engagement, and loyalty metrics.
• Goal‑oriented, data‑driven, and comfortable with numbers and facts.
• Strong project‑management skills and resilience in high‑uncertainty, multitasking environments.
