Houseman (Housekeeping Houseperson)

About the role

The Houseman supports the Housekeeping Department at Hilton Garden Inn Mount Laurel by maintaining clean public areas, stocking supplies, and assisting room attendants to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with Hilton brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, meeting spaces and employee areas.
• Deliver clean linens, towels, amenities, roll‑away beds, cribs and other guest‑requested items.
• Stock housekeeping closets and supply rooms, collect and transport soiled linens and trash.
• Assist Room Attendants with trash removal, room stripping, supply replenishment and special projects.
• Set up and break down meeting rooms and event spaces as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards and guest issues to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel housekeeping, janitorial, custodial or facilities experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
