Housekeeper at Georgia Garrison Training Center (Ft. Stewart)

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join the team at the Georgia Garrison Training Center (GGTC) located on Fort Stewart. This full‑time position supports daily operations by keeping offices, classrooms, restrooms and common areas clean and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of offices, classrooms, restrooms and shared spaces across multiple buildings.
• Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and materials, ordering as needed.
• Handle chemicals safely in accordance with material safety data sheets.
• Ensure all areas meet the cleanliness standards required for an executive environment.

Required profile

• Significant experience in housekeeping or janitorial work, preferably in an executive or government setting.
• Two or more years of experience working with minimal supervision.
• Valid State of Georgia driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment drug test and background investigations.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
