About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Defense is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper 2 to support the 165th Civil Engineering Squadron in Garden City, GA. This full‑time position ensures a clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment for offices, classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of offices, classrooms, restrooms, and shared spaces across multiple buildings.
• Operate a buffer (stripper) and other janitorial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and materials, ordering as needed.
• Follow chemical handling procedures in accordance with material safety data sheets (MSDS).

Required profile

• Significant experience in housekeeping or janitorial work within an executive or government setting.
• Two or more years of experience working with minimal supervision.
• Valid State of Georgia driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment background checks, drug testing, and meet eligibility to work in the U.S.
