Household Manager with Meal Prep Support (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Household Manager to keep our Bedford home organized, support meal preparation, and assist with occasional family tasks. The role is 10‑15 hours per week, primarily on Mondays with flexible weekdays.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain household organization systems (closets, pantry, toys) and reset rooms daily.
• Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high‑traffic areas, and prep home for monthly cleaning service.
• Plan and prepare 2‑3 healthy, plant‑forward, gluten‑free dinners per week and pack school lunches.
• Shop for groceries and meal‑related items, and keep the kitchen tidy after prep.
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry, linens, and pet laundry.
• Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries and manage household supply orders.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, and handle mail and packages.
• Maintain pet supplies and occasionally feed, walk, or transport the family dog.
• Ensure family vehicles are clean, fueled, and organized.
• Provide occasional light supervision or backup childcare and assist with child‑related errands.
• Perform deep‑clean tasks (fridge, oven, baseboards) and organize seasonal projects.
• Assist with coordination of events, appointments, and guest preparation.

Required profile

• Highly organized, naturally resets spaces and takes ownership without prompting.
• Warm, kind, and easy‑going while being outcome‑oriented and dependable.
• Comfortable planning and preparing simple, healthy meals, especially gluten‑free, plant‑forward dishes.
• Enjoys being around young children and a family dog, offering occasional light support.
• Values cleanliness, enjoys maintaining tidy laundry, kitchen, and pantry areas.
