Household Manager with Childcare Support

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Household Manager to support a busy dual‑career family in Dunlap, IL. The role blends home organization, meal preparation, and logistics with flexible childcare assistance during afternoons and evenings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily household tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, light cleaning, and organization of shared spaces.
• Prepare and portion family meals using weekly grocery deliveries and ensure kitchen cleanup.
• Coordinate school pickups, activity transportation, homework assistance, and occasional weekend childcare.
• Handle errands, inventory, grocery unpacking, and vendor coordination for home services.
• Support seasonal home projects, donation sorting, and occasional special cleaning tasks.

Required profile

• Authorized to work in the United States with reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable moving throughout a large home, carrying laundry, groceries, and household items.
• CPR and first‑aid certification preferred; up‑to‑date vaccinations as per CDC guidelines.
• Warm, reliable, and able to work independently while maintaining a smoke‑free environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with shared calendar tools (e.g., Cozi) to manage family schedules.
• Basic knowledge of household safety practices and ability to supervise children safely.
