About the role
We are seeking a reliable Household Manager to oversee our Berkshires second home. The role is part‑time (8–10 hours per week) with flexible scheduling around the family’s visits.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for vendors and contractors, obtain quotes, schedule services, and track completion.
- Maintain inventory of fridge, pantry, household supplies, and ensure the home is stocked before arrivals.
- Coordinate seasonal outdoor preparation, vehicle upkeep, and occasional deep‑clean tasks.
- Handle mail, package organization, donation drop‑offs, and junk removal.
- Manage laundry, linen care, and post‑departure reset of the home.
Required profile
- Independent, resourceful professional with a project‑manager mindset.
- Excellent communication, proactive problem‑solving, and ability to work without reminders.
- Comfortable interacting with contractors and vendors.
- Authorized to work in the United States, reliable transportation, and up‑to‑date vaccinations.
