Household Manager – Part‑time (15‑20 hrs/week)

About the role

We are a busy family living on a 16‑acre farm in Hazel Green, AL, looking for a proactive Household Manager to support daily home operations. The role is part‑time (15‑20 hours per week) with a flexible Monday‑Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain household organization systems, including closets, pantry, and storage areas.
• Perform light cleaning tasks such as loading/unloading the dishwasher, wiping surfaces, and vacuuming high‑traffic zones.
• Manage inventory, restock pantry and household supplies, and handle deliveries.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks, assist children with meal planning, and clean the kitchen after prep.
• Oversee laundry for parents and children, rotate linens, and ensure laundry areas stay tidy.
• Support family logistics, including coordinating donations, packing for seasonal transitions, and assisting with travel planning.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who anticipates needs and works independently without constant direction.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable maintaining multiple household systems simultaneously.
• Trustworthy and respectful of family privacy while reliably handling day‑to‑day tasks.
• Engaging with children, encouraging their independence while providing gentle reminders and support.
