Household Manager – Meal Prep & Family Support

About the role

The family is seeking a part‑time Household Manager focused on meal preparation and overall home organization. You will work Monday‑Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings, supporting three active children and two busy parents in a smoke‑free, well‑maintained home.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shop for, and prepare 3‑4 family dinners per week, following existing recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Handle school and sports pickups, occasional backup childcare, and homework oversight.
• Manage laundry, linen rotation, and daily kitchen clean‑up.
• Maintain pantry, refrigerator, and closet organization; restock supplies and coordinate grocery orders.
• Oversee bi‑weekly house cleaner, schedule contractors, and supervise pool, hot tub, sauna, and patio upkeep.
• Assist with travel planning, calendar management, and event coordination for the household.

Required profile

• Organized, self‑directed, and systems‑oriented with a genuine enjoyment of keeping a busy household running smoothly.
• Comfortable engaging with children, encouraging independence while providing clear expectations.
• Warm, professional, and respectful of family privacy; able to work independently and make thoughtful judgment calls.
• Background in hospitality, executive assistance, or household management is preferred.

Required skills

• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable personal transportation.
• Up‑to‑date vaccinations per AAP/CDC guidelines, including COVID‑19 and flu.
