Household Manager & Family Support (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Household Manager to support a busy family of four in Los Altos Hills. The role is part‑time, flexible (15‑20 hours/week), and focuses on keeping the home organized, handling errands, and enabling the family to enjoy more quality time together.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain household organization systems, tidy rooms daily, and prepare the home for cleaning services.
• Oversee family schedules, calendars, and coordinate service providers such: cleaners and landscapers.
• Manage inventory, run errands, and place orders for pantry, household supplies, and pet needs.
• Plan, shop for, and batch‑cook healthy meals, ensuring kitchen cleanliness after preparation.
• Handle laundry, linen rotation, and keep laundry areas stocked.
• Provide pet care for the family cat, including feeding, litter box cleaning, and grooming.
• Schedule vehicle maintenance, track registrations, and keep cars clean and fueled.
• Assist with school and activity pick‑ups, light childcare, and occasional deep‑cleaning projects.

Required profile

• Highly organized, self‑starter who can adapt to a constantly changing schedule.
• Excellent judgment, calm demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to maintain a smoke‑free environment.
• Sense of humor, flexibility, and willingness to anticipate family needs.
