Household Manager & Family Assistant (Virginia)

About the role

We are recruiting experienced, reliable, and proactive Household Managers and Family Assistants to support families across Virginia. The role focuses on keeping households running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support, with occasional childcare duties.

Key responsibilities

• Daily home reset: light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organizing common spaces.
• Manage household inventory, groceries, pantry staples, and restocking of supplies.
• Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, deliveries, and home‑maintenance providers.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy meals, assist with weekly meal planning and grocery shopping.
• Handle errands such as post office, pharmacy pickups, and online orders.
• Provide optional childcare support, including school pickups and occasional after‑school care.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable, proactive and able to anticipate family needs.
• Calm under pressure, comfortable with changing priorities.
• Warm, respectful, and able to build trust with adults and children.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Calendar for scheduling.
• Experience using Amazon for online ordering and deliveries.
