Household Manager & Family Assistant (Massachusetts)

About the role

We are actively recruiting experienced, reliable, and proactive House Managers & Family Assistants to support families across Massachusetts. These roles focus on keeping households running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support. Some families may also request occasional childcare or after‑school assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily home reset tasks such as light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organizing common spaces.
• Manage household inventory, including groceries, pantry staples, and supplies, and handle restocking.
• Organize closets, playrooms, mudrooms, paperwork, and seasonal rotations.
• Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, deliveries, and home‑maintenance providers.
• Handle errands such as returns, post office, pharmacy pickups, and online orders.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy meals, assist with weekly meal planning, and pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children.
• Support family scheduling, school forms, appointments, and travel preparation.
• Provide optional childcare support, including school or activity pickups, occasional date‑night assistance, and engaging children in crafts or play.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable, and proactive with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities, and respectful with both adults and children.
• Tech‑comfortable using tools such as Google Calendar, Amazon ordering, and shared family apps.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.
• Maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated as requested by the family.
