Household Manager & Family Assistant – Los Angeles

About the role

We are looking for experienced, reliable, and proactive Household Managers and Family Assistants to support families across Los Angeles. The role focuses on keeping homes running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support. You will partner closely with families to anticipate needs and create a calm, welcoming household environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily home resets, including light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organization of common spaces.
• Manage household inventory such as groceries, pantry staples, and supplies, and handle restocking.
• Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, deliveries, and home‑maintenance providers; manage returns, errands, and post‑office tasks.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy meals, assist with weekly meal planning, grocery shopping, and fridge/pantry organization.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children and support family scheduling, school forms, appointments, and travel preparation.
• Provide optional childcare support, including school or activity pickups, occasional date‑night assistance, and engaging children in crafts or outdoor play.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable, and proactive with the ability to anticipate household needs.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities, and able to create trust with adults and children.
• Tech‑comfortable using tools such as Google Calendar, Amazon orders, and shared family apps.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.
• Willingness to maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated if requested by the family.
