Household Manager / Family Assistant

About the role

This part‑time position supports a busy household in Cleveland Heights, handling daily operations, meal preparation, pet care, and assistance for nearby elderly relatives. The family seeks a reliable, proactive individual to keep the home running smoothly while the parents travel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide transportation for elderly relatives to medical appointments and deliver prepared meals.
• Prepare 3–4 wholesome dinners per week and pureed meals for seniors, managing grocery orders.
• Feed, walk, and care for two dogs, including vet and grooming visits, and maintain the backyard chicken flock.
• Perform daily household resets, light cleaning, laundry, and manage inventory, errands, and mail.
• Coordinate vendor services, vehicle upkeep, and support travel planning and event logistics.

Required profile

• Proactive, self‑directed and able to work independently.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to pass a background check.
• Comfortable around pets and elderly family members, with a calm demeanor.
• Excellent communicator, responsive by text and punctual.
• Clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.

Required skills

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Up‑to‑date vaccinations as required by health guidelines.
• Ability to prepare nutritious meals and follow dietary preferences.
