Household Manager & Family Assistant (Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Household Manager & Family Assistant to support a busy two‑parent household in Claremont, NH. The role runs full‑time during the school year (Sept‑May) with flexible options for the summer, and includes a mix of household management, meal preparation, childcare and homeschooling assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Daily household tasks such as dishwashing, tidying common areas, laundry, and maintaining a clean, smoke‑free environment.
• Assist with plant‑based meal prep, vegetable washing, chopping, and simple cooking using a pressure cooker, slow‑cooker or Instant Pot.
• Supervise and transport young children for play, outings, and extracurricular activities; occasional weekend or evening childcare as arranged.
• Support homeschooling routines by setting up supplies, cleaning up projects, and helping document work for a family blog.
• Run errands including grocery shopping, pharmacy pickups, and donation drop‑offs; manage household inventory and recurring orders.

Required profile

• Comfortable and experienced with young children, reliable and proactive in a busy home.
• Safe driver with reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Organized, self‑directed and able to follow household systems without constant supervision.
• Kind, flexible, and able to adapt to changing daily priorities.
