Household Manager & Family Assistant – Delaware

About the role

We are actively recruiting experienced, reliable, and proactive House Managers & Family Assistants to support families across Delaware. The role focuses on keeping households running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support. Some families may also request occasional childcare or after‑school assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily home reset tasks such as light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organizing common spaces.
• Manage household inventory, restock groceries, pantry staples, and supplies, and coordinate with cleaners, vendors, and maintenance providers.
• Plan, prep, and assist with simple, healthy family meals, grocery shopping, and fridge/pantry organization.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children and support family scheduling, school forms, appointments, and travel preparation.
• Provide optional childcare support, including school or activity pickups, occasional date‑night care, and engaging children in crafts or outdoor play.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable, and proactive with the ability to anticipate family needs.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities, and able to create a trustworthy environment for adults and children.
• Tech‑comfortable, familiar with Google Calendar, Amazon ordering, and shared family apps.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.
• Commitment to a smoke‑free environment and up‑to‑date vaccinations if requested by the family.
