Household Manager & Family Assistant – Alabama

About the role

We are recruiting experienced, reliable, and proactive Household Managers & Family Assistants to support families across Alabama. The role focuses on keeping households running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support, with occasional childcare duties.

Key responsibilities

• Daily home reset: light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, organizing common spaces.
• Manage household inventory, groceries, pantry staples and restocking.
• Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, deliveries and home maintenance providers.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy family meals and assist with weekly meal planning.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children and support family scheduling.
• Optional childcare support such as school pickups, date‑night assistance and engaging children in activities.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable and proactive with ability to anticipate needs.
• Calm under pressure, comfortable with changing priorities.
• Warm, respectful and able to build trust with adults and children.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.
• Maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated if requested by the family.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Calendar for scheduling.
• Experience using shared family apps for coordination.
