House Manager with Meal Prep (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are a busy family in San Diego seeking a part‑time House Manager to oversee daytime household operations, including organization, errands, and light meal preparation. The role runs 12–18 hours per week, primarily 8:30 am–2:00 pm, Monday‑Friday, with flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the morning reset after the school rush: clear surfaces, load dishwasher, tidy common areas.
• Maintain and create household organizational systems (clutter, storage, gear).
• Manage full laundry cycle, rotate towels and linens, and handle dry‑cleaning drop‑off/pickup.
• Maintain inventory lists, restock pantry, handle returns, donations, and gift shopping.
• Create weekly grocery lists, coordinate delivery/pickup, and prep 3–4 light meals per week.
• Coordinate family calendars, travel logistics, and occasional vendor oversight.
• Occasional dog walks, vehicle reset after weekend use, and coordinate car washes.

Required profile

• Experienced household professional who works independently with minimal oversight.
• Highly organized, self‑directed, and able to prioritize tasks proactively.
• Comfortable around school‑age children and a friendly dog.
• Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to work in a smoke‑free environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States and up‑to‑date on recommended vaccinations.
