House Manager & Family Assistant (Meal Prep Support)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time House Manager & Family Assistant to support a busy household of six in West Columbia, SC. The role covers household organization, light cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, errands and occasional backup childcare, Monday‑Friday mornings.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain household organization systems, daily resets and prep for bi‑weekly cleaners.
• Light tidying, dish washing, surface cleaning and vacuuming high‑traffic areas.
• Meal support: prep ingredients for dinner 3‑4 times weekly and assist with lunch for the working parent.
• Manage pantry, fridge and supply inventories; place orders and handle subscriptions.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping, dry‑cleaning pickup, prescription pickup and mail handling.
• Laundry care: wash, fold, organize family laundry and occasional ironing.
• Assist with occasional deep cleans of appliances and seasonal organization projects.
• Provide light supervision or backup childcare and occasional date‑night coverage.

Required profile

• Reliable transportation and ability to work in a smoke‑free environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Thoughtful, grounded and highly organized, with a proactive attitude.
• Comfortable working quietly behind the scenes and adapting to homeschooling schedules.
• Flexible and able to handle both routine tasks and occasional special projects.

What we offer

• Hourly pay $25–$30 (W‑2).
• Part‑time schedule 15‑25 hours per week, with guaranteed hours once the schedule is set.
• Monday‑Friday mornings, preferred 8:30 AM–12:30 PM with some flexibility for the right candidate.
