House Manager & Family Assistant (Meal Prep & Light Childcare)

About the role

We are looking for a warm, dependable House Manager & Family Assistant to support our busy household of six, including four homeschooled children. The role blends meal preparation, household organization, light childcare and errands to keep the home running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare dinner three times per week and occasional lunches or snacks, clean kitchen afterwards.
• Manage full family laundry: washing, folding, putting away, and ironing as needed.
• Maintain household organization, general tidying, and prep home for monthly cleaning service.
• Run grocery shopping, restock pantry, fridge and household supplies.
• Handle family support tasks such as pick‑ups/drop‑offs, light supervision of children, and help with travel packing.
• Perform occasional deep cleans, seasonal swaps, and coordinate donation drop‑offs.

Required profile

• Authorized to work in the United States with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain before start.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently after learning household routines.
• Clear communicator who asks questions when needed and keeps the family informed.
• Comfortable with children and able to provide light supervision and support.
