House Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated House Attendant to keep public areas of our hotel clean, safe, and welcoming. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure guest spaces meet brand standards and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and acknowledge their presence.
• Inspect assigned public areas and perform cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and trash collection.
• Collect and transport used linen to the laundry collection point and deliver clean linen to designated sections.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up on resolutions.
• Assist guests with inquiries and provide support as needed.
• Step in as a room attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods.
• Follow HHM’s EarthView sustainability guidelines and safe‑work practices, wearing required protective equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lb, and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals handling.
• Familiarity with MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) compliance.
• Understanding of OSHA safety standards.
