Hourly Dentist Position – East Central Regional Hospital

About the role

East Central Regional Hospital is seeking a part‑time, hourly dentist to provide comprehensive dental care at its Augusta and Gracewood campuses. The role supports individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs, delivering preventive, diagnostic and restorative services.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and prevent oral diseases, including endodontic and prosthodontic procedures.
• Perform examinations, take radiographs and develop treatment plans.
• Design and fabricate prosthodontic appliances such as bridges, dentures and space maintainers.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Supervise and guide subordinate dental staff and support personnel.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Current dental license valid in Georgia.
• Ability to work part‑time on a day shift.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient‑centered approach.
• Experience supervising dental support staff.
