Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant – Hospice Aide

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team. In this role you will provide hands‑on personal care and emotional support to terminally ill patients in their homes, assisted‑living facilities, or inpatient units.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct personal care, including hygiene, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Prepare meals, feed patients, and perform light housekeeping.
• Observe and report any changes in physical or mental condition.
• Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of visits and participate in team meetings.
• Follow infection‑control and safety protocols at all times.

Required profile

• Active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle.
• Minimum six months of direct patient‑care experience.
• Comfortable working in home, hospice, or long‑term‑care settings.
• Compassion, patience, and ability to handle emotional situations.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs.
