High School Transition Coordinator (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Full‑Time High School Transition Coordinator supports high‑school students enrolled in dual‑enrollment programs at Atlanta Technical College, guiding them toward post‑secondary education and Career & Technical Education pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Track and monitor dual‑enrollment student participation and progress.
• Meet with students in their final semester to discuss post‑secondary options and assist with career planning.
• Facilitate paperwork, enrollment requirements, and smooth transitions from high‑school counselors to college advisors.
• Maintain contact with former dual‑enrollment students for up to one year after enrollment.
• Develop relationships with college advisors and faculty to enhance transition services.
• Organize workshops and information sessions for students and families.
• Collect, analyze, and report data on dual‑enrollment participation and outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of directly related experience.
• Knowledge of FERPA guidelines and ability to explain them.
• Understanding of college admission, financial aid procedures, and high‑school/college calendar alignment.

Required skills

• Experience with the student information system BANNER.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
