High School Equivalency Testing Specialist – Adult Education

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a part‑time Testing Specialist to support high school equivalency exams in the Adult Education Division. Working at the Alpharetta‑N. Fulton campus, you will ensure smooth test delivery for candidates seeking their GED, HiSET, or similar credentials.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proctoring and testing services for scheduled exam sessions.
• Maintain required certifications (Pearson VUE, HiSET) and licenses.
• Coordinate logistics: schedule facility space, prepare equipment, and verify software readiness.
• Monitor testing environment, enforce strict proctoring procedures, and escort candidates as needed.
• Generate regular reports on testing operations and assist with data analysis.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer‑service experience.
• Ability to work in a quiet testing environment and follow detailed procedures.
• Pass Pearson VUE and HiSET certification exams.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekly shifts.
