About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a Health Aide 1 to join the team at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville. Working under general supervision, you will provide basic patient care and help patients develop daily living skills during the day shift (7 am‑3:30 pm).
Key responsibilities
- Deliver basic patient care and assist with daily living activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed.
- Support patients in developing self‑care skills.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and follow care plans.
Required profile
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum six months of experience in a related field.
- At least one year of experience as a Health Aide 1 (HCS020) or an equivalent position.
Required skills
- Ability to take and document vital signs.
