Head of Operations

About the role

Helicon is building the next generation of advanced‑material factories and needs a strategic leader to own the end‑to‑end delivery of its physical operations. As Head of Operations you will partner directly with the CEO/CTO, shape the operating system for manufacturing, and drive the launch of Factory 1.

Key responsibilities

• Lead special projects that span software, robotics, and full‑stack manufacturing.
• Design and implement scalable, data‑driven processes to optimize workflows.
• Build and manage relationships with external partners, including suppliers and manufacturers.
• Own the procurement, delivery, and installation of equipment and materials for the new factory.
• Coordinate the build‑out of automated manufacturing lines.

Required profile

• Proven ability to juggle multiple high‑impact initiatives simultaneously.
• Decision‑maker who steps in when urgent problems arise.
• Experience scaling physical manufacturing operations.
• Comfort with making hard calls without perfect data.
