About the role
Shield AI is a venture‑backed defense‑tech company dedicated to protecting service members and civilians with intelligent systems. We are seeking a passionate Electrical Engineer to develop state‑of‑the‑art BlueSky products for our fixed‑wing aircraft. In this role you will define high‑performance computing, sensing, communication, and power systems that enable autonomous flight.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Strong technical fundamentals.
- Contributed to and led multiple product design cycles involving logic, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.
- Demonstrated track record of extreme ownership and delivering outstanding outcomes.
- Proven ability to ship products, navigate development cycles, overcome obstacles, and exceed client expectations.
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities within hardware projects and implement innovative solutions.
