About the role
We are seeking a deeply experienced and visionary Head of Fraud Product to lead the strategy, development, and execution of Sardine’s core fraud prevention suite. Key responsibilities
- Set the Vision & Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for Sardine’s fraud product portfolio, balancing immediate customer needs with long‑term innovation in device intelligence, behavioral biometrics, and machine learning.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Engineering and Data Science leaders to translate complex fraud typologies into highly accurate, low‑latency models and product features.
- Optimize Core Metrics: Drive product improvements that maximize fraud catch rates while minimizing false positives and user friction for our merchants.
- Market & Threat Intelligence: Stay up‑to‑date on emerging fraud trends, account takeover tactics, synthetic identity creation, and competitor capabilities.
- Go‑to‑Market Enablement: Work closely with Marketing and Sales to define product positioning, value propositions, and sales enablement materials.
Required profile
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years leading other PMs.
- Deep, hands‑on experience in payment fraud at a high‑growth payment processor, fraud‑vendor company, or merchant.
- Prior experience at a specialized fraud vendor or B2B SaaS startup.
- Exceptional ability to work with large datasets and define, track, and optimize complex risk metrics.
- Bias for action and a proven track record of taking zero‑to‑one products to market and scaling them to enterprise readiness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including C‑suite clients.
What we offer
- Generous cash and equity compensation with early‑exercise options.
- Remote‑first culture: work from anywhere in the United States.
- Flexible paid time off and year‑end break.
- Health, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents (US & Canada).
- 4% matching in 401k / RRSP.
- MacBook Pro delivered to your door plus a one‑time home‑office setup stipend.
- Monthly meal and social meet‑up stipends.
- Annual health, wellness, and learning stipends.
- Opportunity to join a fast‑growing company with world‑class professionals.
