About the role

Cape’s platform gives customers end‑to‑end control of their digital identity, even on untrusted networks. As the Head of Forward Deployed Engineering you will own the technical execution of the federal business, partnering with Business Development and Product to translate demanding government requirements into deployed solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and execute the technical vision for the federal engineering organization, building a secure, resilient, and scalable network that supports critical national missions.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a world‑class team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and integrity.
• Serve as the primary technical partner to federal customers, translating complex mission requirements into tangible, deployed solutions.
• Take full ownership of engineering practices, security protocols, and delivery timelines to set new standards for government technology.
• Steer engagement with the unique challenges of the federal landscape, ensuring solutions remain at the vanguard of innovation and mission‑ready.
