Head of Capital Product Operations & Systems

About the role

We are looking for a senior operator to build the AI‑enabled operating system that powers two institutional‑scale capital products. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will design, automate and own the end‑to‑end workflows that move deals from term sheet through closing, funding, draws and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an operating system that manages intake, underwriting, approval, funding, draws and ongoing execution for capital products.
• Make ownership, handoffs, dependencies, risks and decisions visible across origination, underwriting, capital markets, finance and asset‑management teams.
• Standardize templates, data structures, approval paths and document flows, and create onboarding processes for capital partners.
• Build internal tools and automations using coding agents such as Codex, Claude Code or Cursor, and integrate AI where it safely accelerates work.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to ensure adoption, continuous improvement and alignment with institutional controls.

Required profile

• Proven track record leading ambiguous, cross‑functional programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience turning messy, recurring workflows into durable, repeatable systems adopted by others.
• Hands‑on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, Cursor) to build practical solutions.
• Comfort operating within a software delivery process, understanding Git, branches, pull requests and deployment cycles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI coding agents such as Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Strong knowledge of Git version‑control workflows.
• Experience with low‑code/no‑code platforms like Airtable, Notion, Retool, Zapier, Make or Jira.
