Harness Platform Specialist

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Harness Platform Specialist to join its Engineering unit in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on delivering complex, data‑first software solutions, leveraging AI, ML and predictive analytics to accelerate product value delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Create business requirement documents covering functional and non‑functional needs based on workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Design high‑level and low‑level software architectures, validate prototypes and incorporate feedback.
• Develop critical and complex full‑stack applications while establishing coding standards aligned with design specifications.
• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies to meet functional and non‑functional criteria.
• Guide technical implementation of system infrastructure and new software rollouts, ensuring timely deployment.
• Orchestrate system transitions to minimise operational disruption.
• Analyse incident trends, identify root causes and propose sustainable remediation.
• Provide expert insights and build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge bases for systematic information capture.
• Contribute to technology tool selection in partnership with architects.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in software development and technology consulting.
• Proven ability to produce detailed requirement and design documentation.
• Strong analytical skills for incident trend analysis and solution design.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience guiding teams through full‑cycle delivery and rollout processes.
