Handyman – Property Maintenance

About the role

American HomeStays LLC is looking for a reliable Handyman to keep residential and commercial properties safe, functional, and well‑maintained for tenants and clients in the Baltimore area. The role involves a mix of general repairs, routine inspections, and on‑call support across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance on doors, windows, locks, drywall, tile, flooring, and other property features.
• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and fixture installation tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants, property managers, and supervisors.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify safety concerns and prioritize repairs.
• Document work performed, materials used, and time spent; report unresolved issues to supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or trade certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance technician in residential or commercial settings.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background and drug checks.
