Guest Services Representative (Part-Time)

About the role

T-Mobile Center in Kansas City is looking for Guest Services Representatives to deliver an exceptional guest experience for internal and external visitors. The role covers greeting guests, answering questions and resolving concerns in a professional and welcoming way, and is open to part-time work.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, check tickets, provide information, answer questions and give directions, and escort guests when needed
• Assist and accommodate guests with special needs
• Respond to guest questions or complaints promptly and professionally
• Help Guest Services management retrieve lost and found property
• Follow venue policies and procedures and attend annual training on medical aids, emergency procedures, safety and customer service
• Take part in the emergency evacuation team, communicating with and directing guests during emergencies
• Perform other duties as directed by management

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of customer service-related work experience
• Positive, customer service-oriented attitude
• Able to speak, understand and follow directions in English
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Required skills

• Ability to handle large or high-profile events in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stay calm with angry or emotional guests
• Ability to move around the facility and stand for long periods
• Ability to push a wheelchair, including moving up to 300 lbs
• Preferred: previous experience in a sports, entertainment or convention facility
