Growth Marketing Engineer – Brokerage Growth

About the role

Shepherd is looking for a Growth Marketing Engineer to build and own the go‑to‑market stack for its broker channel. You will combine AI‑driven growth tactics with hands‑on execution to drive paid media, ABM, lifecycle automation and conversion across the funnel.

Key responsibilities

• Own paid media and ABM programs end‑to‑end, from audience strategy to creative testing and performance optimization.
• Design and implement broker lifecycle journeys, signal‑based triggers and intelligent sequences to deliver the right touch at the right time.
• Build and iterate landing pages, forms and website flows to improve conversion and run CRO experiments.
• Implement structured data, schema markup and entity infrastructure for GEO and AI‑search visibility.
• Select, wire and maintain the marketing automation stack, enrichment and tracking, and create dashboards for attribution.
• Produce performance‑focused creative assets such as explainers, product demos and ad creatives.
• Increase experimentation velocity by continuously testing audiences, offers, creative and channels.

Required profile

• 4+ years blending growth marketing, demand generation and technical execution in a fast‑moving B2B or consumer tech company.
• Extremely AI‑pilled, regularly using tools like Cursor, Claude Code or Codex.
• High agency and hands‑on: ship new tools or analyses without waiting for engineering support.
• All‑in on craft, delivering end‑to‑end solutions that meet measurable goals.
• Enjoy tackling big, complex problems such as data gaps, messy funnels and attribution edge cases.
• Proven experience running growth programs at scale and building attribution to prove impact.
