Growth Lead (AI‑Driven Marketing Engineer)

About the role

Shepherd is looking for an AI‑pilled growth marketer to build its broker‑focused growth engine. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will own paid media, account‑based marketing, broker lifecycle automation, and the technical stack that drives submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Own paid media and ABM programs end‑to‑end, from audience strategy and creative testing to performance reporting.
• Design and implement broker lifecycle journeys, signal‑based triggers, and intelligent sequences to deliver the right touch at the right time.
• Improve conversion across the funnel by building and iterating landing pages, forms, and website flows, running CRO experiments weekly.
• Set up GEO and AI‑search infrastructure with structured data, schema markup, and entity optimization.
• Select, integrate, and dashboard marketing automation and attribution tools to surface clear performance insights.
• Create performance‑focused assets such as explainer videos, lightweight demos, landing pages, and ad creative.

Required profile

• 4+ years blending growth marketing, demand generation, and technical execution in a fast‑moving B2B or consumer tech company.
• Deep familiarity with AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) and a habit of being the first to experiment with new LLM releases.
• High agency: ship weekly, build tools without waiting for engineering, and own end‑to‑end outcomes.
• Comfort with complex, data‑rich problems such as messy funnels, attribution edge cases, and scaling attribution frameworks.
