About the role
Rune is redefining military logistics through rapid growth and relentless innovation. As a Growth Director you will lead the capture of new business opportunities within the U.S. Navy, working closely with engineers, mission managers, and executive leadership to shape and expand the company’s footprint in defense logistics.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities within the U.S. Navy and through strategic corporate partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, mission success) and senior leadership to align business goals.
- Represent Rune at industry events, trade shows, and government meetings to showcase TyrOS capabilities and gather user feedback.
- Develop relationships with key decision‑makers across the military logistics community to enable capture efforts.
- Oversee a business‑development pipeline from lead generation through shaping to contract award.
- Lead proposal development, including RFP responses, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the defense technology sector.
- High ownership mindset with a bias toward action and responsibility for capture efforts.
- Strong understanding of U.S. Navy acquisition processes, contract structures, and solicitation procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to government and military stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel 25‑50% for customer engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree required and an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
