Growth & Adoption Lead (Lifecycle Marketing)

About the role

We are looking for a product‑adoption obsessive who will own our lifecycle motion end‑to‑end—email and in‑app—to accelerate user adoption of new Clay products. The role focuses on driving adoption through product launches, programmatic PLG plays, and ecosystem initiatives such as cohorts, workshops, and livestreams.

Key responsibilities

• Own lifecycle channels (email and in‑app) and one‑off communications that promote product and program adoption while maintaining a consistent Clay voice.
• Partner with GTM Ecosystem and Product Marketing on PLG efforts, including cohorts, product launches, and trigger‑based campaigns.
• Run experiments and A/B tests to lift conversion toward product activation and program registration.
• Build automation and reporting infrastructure to scale one‑off sends and provide a unified dashboard for campaign performance.
• Coordinate the roadmap for all communications, ensuring proper audience segmentation and compliance guardrails.

Required profile

• Proven lifecycle marketing experience owning email and/or in‑app programs end‑to‑end.
• Strong bias toward adoption metrics—activation, conversion, product usage—rather than volume of sends.
• Builder DNA: experience creating 0→1 workflows, automation, or reporting systems and scaling them.
• Comfort working cross‑functionally with product, growth, brand, events, and sales teams.
• Passion for Clay’s mission and willingness to evangelize the product.
