Group Leader - Warehouse Logistics

About the role

The Group Leader – Warehouse Logistics will oversee daily packaging and distribution activities, ensuring efficient operations and continuous improvement. You will lead a team of Team Leaders and Warehouse Associates, develop standardized work methods, and mentor staff to enhance problem‑solving capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and monitor daily packaging and distribution tasks performed by Team Leaders and Warehouse Associates.
• Develop, revise, and implement standardized work procedures.
• Assign work, instruct associates, and track progress and effectiveness of individual and group assignments.
• Conduct performance reviews and recommend personnel actions.
• Recommend procedural improvements to departmental management.
• Collect, extract, and interpret data from multiple sources; prepare complex statistical reports.
• Create and maintain databases, generate spreadsheets, and produce reports, charts, and correspondence.
• Act as a point of contact for vendors providing services.
• Coach and mentor Team Leaders in BPS principles, standardized work, A3 thinking, and continuous improvement activities.
• Lead departmental projects and initiatives related to logistics processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading warehouse or logistics teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret operational data.
• Demonstrated capability to develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and problem‑solving training.
• Excellent communication skills for directing associates and collaborating with management.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as A3 thinking and deviation tracking.
